Glog

From this Glog project, I learned many things. There are three groups in our Glog. The first person was a cameraman. He was very nice and took a picture with us. The second person was a kindly old woman. Even though she asked our questions shortly, we also thanked her. And the last person was a big family which had two children. These three people also gave us a lot of their opinions of American Pop culture and High culture. In this Glog, you can see something are different between American Pop culture and High culture.

Technology

Technology is very important and useful for me in my life. I usually use my cell-phone, computer and TV every day. For me, I think technology is absolutely necessary because some are not only can talk with my friends, they can also be easy for me to take them to anywhere. Sometimes, when you are boring, you can also take out a technology to play games. when i want to fine some informations about my work or my study, i could also find then from the internet. Finally, I think technology is a benefit. No matter it is in my study or my life, technology can also help me to improve myself.

Movies

Do you think a good movie can improve your taste? For me, I think it can. When there are a lot of movies are coming, some of them are good, and also some of them are bad. I remembered that I have watched an Academy Award movie which named “ELLA ENCHANTED”. It i guided by a famous director- Tomny O'Haver, who guided many successful movies. Later, I wrote a movie review of it. From “ELLA ENCHANTED”, you can watch a lot of beautiful people. For example, the main actors of it are ELLA and PRINCAE CHAR. a girl who wants to change a Kingdom and who falls in love with a prince. And a boy who wants to find his lovely wife.This movie does not only have famous main actors, it also had good supporting actors. This movie also talk out some young girls who want to be a princess in their life so that i love this movie--"ELLA ENCHANTED".

In today's Academy Award movies, there are many kinds of movie in it. Most of them are useful for people. At that same time, people will write many movie review about these Academy Award movies. For me, i think that some movie reviews of current movies are not very good for children because sometimes it has some frightful compositions in them. These frightful compositions may be teaching badly some children. And then they will copy these bad things. I hope that when people watch movies, they can choose the benefit and useful movies to watch.

Music

My favorite song is “Because of you” which sings by Kelly Clarkson who writes a lot of beautiful songs before. Though this song’s lyrics are about love, for me, I only think it looks like to talk about friendship. When I heard this beautiful song, I could remember many memories which happened in china. In that time, i could play with my friends as long as i could. However, i could not play like that since i have came to the U.S because i knew that i came here's goal was to study. Finally, my favorite type of music is some romantic songs because when I heard these kinds’ songs, I felt comfortable and happy.

Reading

I choose one reading which names “Text Messaging Articles”. From this article, I knew that there were many young people who loved using text messages. However, after few weeks, I felt some of my opinions changed. At the first time, no matter it affected our health or our life; I just thought texting messages are not good for us. However, I found that texting messages had some benefits now. Sometimes, when we want to talk something which is not easy to talk to other people in face to face, we can use texting messages. In conclusion, I found that Texting Messages are also benefit in our life.

Pop Culture

In my life, I usually think that Pop culture influences me. From my study ways to my work, everything follows Pop culture. When I was a child, I used to hear my parents said that they loved the Pop culture. However, after I grew up, I found that I loved it too. Because Pop culture means people’s opinions, I have changed my opinion since I have been in the U.S. I changed t6hat some girls’ sexy styles was ok and thought some of them were very beautiful.

Surely, I found that some American Pop culture and Chinese Pop culture were different sometime. For example, in china, people usually work for 10 hours. However, in America, people almost work for 8 hours. I thought that I t was good for our health to have an enough rest. And then some American wearing styles were different of Chinese culture. Although some American Pop culture was colorful, Chinese Pop culture was more kinds of styles.
